IYANUIyanu is a London based Textile Designer whose signature print draws influence from her Nigerian-British background. IYA₦U (e.yah.nu) is her transcultural brand; designs that rebel against traditional style of prints and bringing it into modern expressions.IYA₦U debuted its first collection ‘YOUTH’ in Lagos, Nigeria.In 2020, the brand debuted ‘Things Fall Apart’ at London Fashion Week with ON|OFF presents... The collection pays homage to Nigerian author Chinua Achebe, celebrating the identity of a colonial culture in a post-colonial Nigeria. The print encompasses the brand's transcultural identity whilst infusing colour explosions and disruption into original design aesthetic.
