Daniel Pascal Tanner is a British Designer from London graduating from London College of Fashion with a first class honours degree where he was awarded the Nicolas Samuel Celebratory Scholarship.
For SS/19, Daniel debuts his first Womenswear collection after a successful collaboration and sponsorship with Liberty London Fabrics.
Classical silhouettes are given a contemporary touch when conflated with playful exaggerations in proportion, with experimental colours exploring the boundaries of taste and the sensibilities of chic.
Flowing fabrics are combined with structured form and processes inspired by techniques from the past to add to a sense of clashing modernity and antiquity. Finished with unusual embellishment and fine craft detail, these collections are designed and handmade in London.
Daniel describes his aesthetic as Neo-Romantic. “It’s easy to see visual references of historical fashion in my work yet I always look to include the contrast of classic and modern, this comes from growing up in a theatrical environment and my previous career as a professional dancer.”
